Delete your Paws account

In the app

Open More → Delete account and confirm. Your account and every record, report and message stored under it are removed straight away.

Without the app

Email alanlisaht@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my Paws account”, from the address you signed in with, or tell us which Apple or Google account you use with Paws.

We delete the account and everything stored under it — your records, reports and messages — within 30 days, and confirm by email.

Delete some of your data, keep the account

In the app, open Records and swipe a record away to delete it, with everything you wrote in it. It is removed from our servers straight away.

To have other data deleted — a report you sent, a message from More → Write to us — email alanlisaht@gmail.com with the subject “Delete some of my Paws data” and say what to delete. We do it within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is kept

Nothing that you wrote. Usage statistics and crash reports, which contain none of your writing and are not linked to your name, expire on their own within 14 months. Payment records are held by the App Store or Google Play, not by us.
